In this article, I will demonstrate, using an example, how to create files in your Delphi application that contain a various number of different files. In short: how to create a component that works like an archive, comparable to Arj, Jar or Zip. I get close to this goal, I also use the data compression unit "ZLib" delivered on your Delphi CD-ROM.

Note: This article is not complete yet. So it is rather an introduction - but: if you have experience in Delphi, this doc already describes enough information to continue your work on your own. When completed, this doc will be provided as a downloadable.
