New concept
This new version of Hüpattl! Utilities is a completely new constructed aoolication. In contrast to early versions, v5 is build up modular - like it's predecessors v4 & v3 - but the new release will support real external modules. This allows to easily update single plugins and tp provide auto-installable bonus packages even from third-party suppliers. So you - as an Delphi programmer can provide your projects compiled as DLLs for Utilities 5 - with slightly modifications.
Stage
At the moment, Utilities 5 are on their early production stage, but the basic shell is already designed and capable of integrating plugin modules. At the moment, I provide some more interfaces for external modules. The final version will contain a special directory for developers containing HOWTOs and some example units as well as sample units.
Features
As its predeccessors, Utils 5 will contain common little helpers, like system information services, a backup utility, tools for graphics and more. At this moment, it is VERY unclear what tools will make it into the final version.
Your ideas
As mentioned above, Utilities will provide an
interface for third-party tools, so there are two ways of making
the new version more improved:
a) if you are Delphi programmer, you can offer
modules for download on your website, link will be added at
Neveprise's. You will find the Utilities SDK under products\Utilities when I am
ready with the interface.
b) you cannot develope or have no envie to do so,
do NOT hasitate to send ideas for new modules or ideas for
improvements. ya can do so via
