QStart Light 4.0

Yeah, some time for the old stuff...QStart is nothing more and nothing less than a second startmenu. Note that this app has been done quick and dirty last year, but works fine for its purpose.

1) The Application

The problem: Desktop full of icons??? The Desktop is practical to store fast links to apps and documents, but the problem is that your nice wallpaper is getting abused. Well, since IE 4 and 5 or Win98, those shortcuts are available in the taskbar - good idea - but you these links always correspondent to those of the Desktop. So with QStart, you have a small app that puts itself in the systray just next to the clock. When right-clicking it, you get a little menu with folders containing user-defined shortcuts. The folders may not have more than one level to provide quick access, otherwise you also can use the normal startmenu. So you should only leave often used shortcuts in QStart.
