To Boldly Glow

An interactive, real-time 3D solar system you can explore in your browser — accurate orbits, real-time positions, and a cinematic autopilot tour.

Beta WebGPU TypeScript No backend

To Boldly Glow renders the solar system in real time, entirely in your browser via WebGPU — no plugins, no install, no backend. Planets sit at their true, currently computed positions rather than a fixed animation loop, so what you see reflects actual orbital mechanics. It's early and actively evolving — expect rough edges, and feedback is very welcome.

Explore your way

Pilot it yourself, or let the camera fly.

explore

Orbit & free-fly camera

Orbit any body to inspect it up close, or switch to a free-fly camera and pilot through the system like a spacecraft.

travel_explore

Autopilot tour

Start the endless tour and the camera flies itself — cruising toward the nearest not-yet-visited planet, looping in close for a flyby, then continuing on, forever.

schedule

Real-time simulation clock

Speed time up, slow it down, or reverse it — watch orbits and rotations play out at any rate, computed from real orbital mechanics rather than pre-baked animation.
