Yeah! This was cool: i worked for eight month non-stop on this: it was just a mod for the classic played in the Star Trek world. It featured:

• completely new textures and graphics: hallways, holodeck etc.
• new enemies: Nomad, Borg, some Classic/TOS enemies whose names i dunno...
• new story featured by an own intro and extro (comic-like)

WinPic was a 10 KB batchfile that had a simple task: to exchange the desktop wallpaper each system restart. It maintained a list of possible wallpapers that were selected randomly or by manual selection. It was a beast.

Later, WinPic 95 was a GUI version written in Borland Delphi, it was a bit more professional though...

This GUI application was just a helper application that you could feed with up to three images that were be used then on windows startup, shutdown and poweroff message. It scaled down a bitmap to appr. sizes and wrote them to logo.sys etc.

A larger Win application, basically a clone of the later Tuneup'97. It worked quite good, looked nice but was far from stable or suitable for the outside world.

In cooperation with Dream Dimensions (at that times known as "Nagilum Enterprises"), we started intensive works in Simple Disease I, a mod for DOOM by id Software. Again, like with Disaster, this included:

• all new textures
• new animations and enemies
• special sound fx
• a soundtrack on CD
• own menu system
• rendered and filmed intro/extro sequences
• enhanced/new monster behaviour/completely new weapon types
